Alternative Education Provision

Admission criteria : Ages 8-11yrs, 11-16yrs, 16+

All welcome from schools, local authority, home education and other organisations. Whitlingham Adventure provides outdoor activities to young people including SEND, SEMH and those who struggle in a main-stream environment.

Programme overview

A wide range of outdoor and adventurous activities including: Canoeing, Kayaking, Paddleboarding, Sailing, Raftbuilding, Open Water Safety and Swimming, Archery, Orienteering, Climbing & Bushcraft.

Outside the classroom learning benefits young people’s self-confidence, resilience, social and life skill development. 

Programme length

Single activity session, half-term scheme of activity sessions and termly/year-long skills/instructor development programme options.
