Last week we held our Pudsey Paddle event and despite the chilly, damp weather everyone involved managed to keep smiling and lots of fun was had by all. In total we raised a phenomenal £1,180!
Thursday we invited school & college groups to come down completely free of charge to compete in the races whilst in fancy dress. We had a couple of teams from North Denes Primary School & two from Wayland Junior Academy Watton. Two teams from Norwich City College also came and competed. Thank you to all the pupils for their enthusiasm and funds raised towards the total. If you’re reading this and would like your school or child to be involved next year then please contact us for more information.
On the big day, Friday 15th November, we then welcomed 12 corporate teams to Whitlingham Adventure to challenge the winners from 2018, Norwich City Council, for the Pudsey Trophy!
Thank you to all the teams for their donations and involvement this year. New for 2019 was the Educator Solutions Music Service who played live music throughout the event which helped to keep the teams motivated and warm through dancing so a huge thank you to them.

Well done to Norwich City Council who managed to retain the trophy for another year! A close second was Naked Marketing Mannequin Overboard and Broadland Council with One Foot in the Wave came in third place.
Mannequin Overboard also took the certificate away for Best Fancy Dress for Steve’s performance in the katakanu.
Again thank you to everyone involved for making it our most successful Pudsey Paddle event to date. Also special mention to our fellow NCC employees over at County Hall who helped add over £600 to the total by arranging a collection within the building.
We hope to see you all back next year!
